Welcome to my second attempt at blogging!

I’m sure what few readers I originally had are long since gone. For those of you who care my original blog was an attempt to tell the adventures of World of Warcraft from an entirely in-character perspective: Diary of Kirryn, Draenei Priestess. It was going pretty well until I tried to set up a second blog for a school project. I ended up corrupting the database and losing about 1/3rd of the entries. Being that school comes first added to the fact that I really didn’t want to type up the lost entries again, that blog died a quick death. I still have all my notes so, it’s possible that blog might return someday, but it’s highly unlikely. On the plus side, I got an A in the class.

So, attempt #2… This blog won’t be about World of Warcraft, at least not entirely. I’ve no doubt I’ll go back to the game at some point but for now this blog will just be about whatever I feel like at the moment. Given that my main interests are gaming, internet, computers, and other things “geek”, you can probably guess what the majority of posts will be about.

Since I brought it up, I’m not currently play WoW as I’ve switched to Age of Conan. Anyone who’s played it is probably wondering why I haven’t left yet and, quite frankly, I have no reasonable answer for you other than this incessant need I have to not let anything go to waste. I even spent extra money on the Collector’s Edition so I’m going to damn well get to 80 at least! When I’m not being frustrated by bugs I do have fun playing and I’m hopeful that FunCom will eventually get their act together. Then again, I said much the same thing back when Anarchy Online launched. Needless to say, with their history, the odds are definitely stacked against them and if things haven’t improved by the time I hit 80 I may not be back. Unlike World of Warcraft, where I know I’ll be back eventually, for the next expansion if not sooner.

So, to all my future readers, welcome! And please, don’t be shy about commenting! If I didn’t want feedback I could just keep a diary with a little lock on it and keep it hidden under my mattress.
